How much water do seedlings (and capsicum plants in general) need?

  • “Mist the seedlings several times a day (or as they show signs of drying out) with a fine spray from a plastic plant sprayer bottle. (The drier the air, the more often they will need to be misted.)” – Floridata
  • ‘Chili peppers have such a tough and hardy image, people often don’t realize how sensitive they are when it comes to lack of water. Make sure your capsicum plants have plenty and never dry out. At the same time, don’t over-water. The soil should be free draining. Chili peppers don’t grow in swamps.’ – TropicalPermaculture
